Sitting by candlelight this morning sipping a warm drink listening to the birds and contemplating a question from a reader today about letting go.
Our puppy Gracie is growing up so quickly. Walking her every morning is such a gift, when things are feeling out of control in my life it’s like the mystery of life demonstrates to me over and over that there is perfect order to our existence even if we don’t always perceive it to be there. The sunrise, the perfection of the buds on the tree stems, the greening grass and the trout swimming upstream.
Letting go over and over trying to control the outcomes and people in our lives is the most direct path to our own inner peace. The concept of enlightenment is understanding how to do this, which is the lifelong beautiful spiritual journey we’re all on and can’t be rushed like the daffodils in our gardens we’ll see them when it’s time and the conditions are favorable.
I doubt any of our egos will be fully satisfied with this rif, but hopefully, something will resonate with you.
If so I’d love to hear about it below or by simply replying to this email.
With love,
Nona
