Good reminders to do what makes us feel good, because it is important. We so often prioritize our busy-ness at the expense of simple pleasures. Thank you for sharing that stilling your mind didn't come easily for you. Sometimes it seems like it must be easier for the people we witness already doing the things that we want to do. They have just prioritized and applied themselves. I always think, " If THEY can do it, so can I! And if I can do it, ANYONE CAN!
Amen to that sister! Daily practice. I noticed on FB that you are doing Jim Kwik's superbrain course and applying it to horses, sounds amazing. I love his personal story of what brought him to his work. It sounds like you're enjoying it and I have a feeling you're already seeing first hand what daily practice can do for our brains both to retain and process things and read faster AND to do the opposite and learn how to master or still your mind.
It seems like the learning never stops. Don't laugh but after your suggestion from last week I just spent the last 30 recording my voiceover for yesterday's "The Herd" and once I finally finished - for some reason it wouldn't upload? Sigh. Sorry Paige, I tried:)
I'm wondering if it's my laptop's audio that's the issue - just wanted to let you know since you may have been expecting it. I'm hoping a mic will help, but I'll reach out to their tech support to troubleshoot it tomorrow. xx. Thanks for being you - I'm imagining my next one will have a voice over embbeded on the first go!
